Everglades National Park
Everglades National park is an incredible park. I have traveled and backpacked through over 20 different national parks in the United States, and the Everglades is still one of my all time favorites. I have chosen to become a guide in the park and am looking forward to many new adventures with my clients. It would be my pleasure to spend a day on the water with you, fishing and showing the waters, whether its throwing a fly rod or a light spinning rod, I want to show my true passion and love for the park and share it with others. It is the largest tropical wilderness in the U.S. It is a incredible network of wetlands, mangroves, forests that provide habitat for many different species of fish, birds, reptiles, and yes mosquitos too. However preparation is key for a successful fun day on the water and I have spent many days learning to perfect a good fun and safe day on the water in the Everglades. I have all safety equipment required, a satellite Communication device so no matter what, I always have contact, VHF, all proper safety items to provide a safe and great experience into one of Floridas greatest Wilderness areas. The fishing in the park can be absolutely incredible, as we venture far into the backcountry hunting for snook, tarpon, redfish, trout, tripletail, and other species. A good day on the water consists of a backcountry slam, which consists of 3 or 4 of the game species caught in a day. If you are interested in doing a trip to the Everglades, please give me a call if you have any other questions or would like to book. Thank you!!
